Description
A collection that gathers together four of the most significant editions ever published of this gentleman’s quarterly. Opening with the milestone that was our 100th edition, published in Summer 2019 and bearing articles on Terry-Thomas, Humphrey Bogart, Sebastian Horsley and Lauren Bacall, with interviews with Kevin Rowland of Dexys Midnight Runners and British cinema icon Leslie Phillips, as well as a history of the Chap and its many well-dressed adherents, the collection continues with another milestone – the first issue published after the global pandemic and one that heralded a (sadly never manifested) return to the heady days of the Roaring Twenties after the Spanish flu pandemic. Thence to the issue when we finally caught up with Sir Michael Caine for a long-awaited interview, and in which we also managed to squire seven Edwardian dandies and dandizettes aboard a real Concorde at Brooklands Museum. Finally the special Silver Jubilee edition of Spring 2024, in which we celebrated 25 glorious years of this publication. Limited numbers remain of this highly covetable set of special Chap editions.
