Description
Winston Churchill without a cigar in his hand or mouth would be as difficult to countenance as Terry-Thomas without the gap between his front teeth – although rumours recently surfaced of the iconic Montecristo being airbrushed out of a photograph of the great leader. This book chronicles Churchill’s passion for cigars, along with his friendship with Antonio Giraudier, the Cuban cigar trader who stocked Churchill’s humidor for twenty years before fleeing Castro’s revolution. This hardback first edition was published by Macmillan in 2007 and is in excellent condition.
