After a lengthy hiatus and following numerous requests from readers, the Chap’s succulently-scented, face-smoothing Flaneur after-shave balm is back in stock. This creamy unguent is based on the same scent as Flaneur eau de cologne, and provides the fizzog with a much-needed soothing balm after the rigours of the razor have left it raw and dry. Flaneur After-Shave Balm is applied immediately after shaving – perhaps with Flaneur Shaving Soap – and the skin laps it up thirstily, while the soul relishes its masculine base of amber, patchouli, vetiver and vanilla, with middle notes of violet, iris, geranium and rose rising to top notes of bergamot, verbena and pink pepper. Like the fragrance that informs it, Flaneur After-Shave Balm sprinkles a little dash of the louche wanderer on its grateful recipient’s face.
