When The Chap was approaching its 25th anniversary, various items were considered as commemorative heirlooms to mark this quarter-century, and right at the top of the list was a tea mug, much like those released upon the coronation or jubilee of a member of the royal family. And thus it was produced – The Chap Silver Jubilee Tankard Mug. Designed by Chap designer Caroline Lindop, the mug incorporates a series of celebratory finials and curlicues in the traditional British colours of red, white and blue. Chap logos old and new are displayed in bold red circles, and there is a silver trim to the rim and handle. This is a limited edition heirloom from which any Chap reader would be proud to sip their lapsang souchong.
