Boy’s School Cap

£25.00

Schoolboy’s felt cap from the early 20th century, in excellent condition for its age and presumed usage as a seat liner for a muddy hideout or conker storage by a Just William type character. The pink silk tassels are perfectly preserved, around an embroidered motto reading ‘Labore Omnia Vincit’ (work conquers all, a motto that Just William would certainly not have agreed with). The size is approximately 7 1/4, on the large size for a child’s hat and therefore would easily fit an adult, perhaps in training for a future Chap Olympiad.
