CHAP Winter 2019

£6.99

Though we had no idea of what was coming at the time, this proved to be the last issue of The Chap before the Covid-19 pandemic swept the globe, shutting us all away in our rooms for over a year. Thus it seems fitting that the cover was graced by surreal comedian Vic Reeves, who was photographed with his chum Tony Pitts riding motorcycles around Brighton. Also in this issue: Marilyn Monroe’s dandyism, an interview with Kevin Rowland of Dexy’s, travel to Mexico, a meeting with ‘Legs’ Larry Smith of the Bonzo Dog Doo Dah band, Mason & Sons, heirs of the James Bond tailoring line, Horst P. Horst, David Niven’s moustachioed army chum Trubshawe, New World Cigars, Shaun Gordon Tiemaker and much, much more.
