Description
Terry-Thomas finally got round to writing his autobiography (with the help of Terry Daum) in 1990, shortly before he died. By then he was riddled with Parkinson’s Disease and living in poverty, yet the spirit of old Terry shines forth from these pages. He recalls his first dabblings with dandyism at the meat market where his father expected him to work, his early days on television and then into the big time in Hollywood. As he says in the introduction, “Terry-Thomas can’t just limp off the stage; I’ve still got something to say before I die.” This is the first edition with signs of erstwhile library usage.
