Description
Cufflinks with a round, machine tooled head such as these were commonplace in the 1920s – but as the main cufflink. This pair throws those in as a fastening, but the real work has gone into the principal design, a beautiful enamelled pattern of intersecting art deco angles with gold borders. If a stained-glass window from the art deco era could be turned into a cufflink, this is what it would look like. The red and black surfaces measure 17.5mm at their longest.
