CHAP Autumn 21 encountered the brothers Mael, otherwise known as Sparks, while on tour in Europe. They discussed their delight in vintage clothing and English music. We also met a man whose passion for obscure French ye-ye music caught the attention of Quentin Tarantino. Stanley Biggs menswear made their first appearance within these pages, along with Gregory Farmer, the Camden Watch Company, Malloch’s Knitwear and Fox Brothers & Co. Sam Knowles commented on the ancient gentlemen’s cricket fixture in Sussex, while Chris Sullivan reminded us of the dark days of Prohibition.
