CHAP Winter 2020

Description

As the global pandemic reached its peak in the winter of 2020, we looked at the Semiotics of Face Masks and interviewed Sir Ranulph Fiennes for some light relief. Diana Rigg was our dandizette and John Simons our sartorial interviewee. We also met James Bond stunt driver Ben Collins, visited the TWA Flight Center (sic) in New York with Colleen Darnell, learned about Tweed Ski Suits, met Blakesby Hats in Australia and spent an afternoon in the fizzy company of Champagne Charlie. Sir Richard Burton’s dazzling career was profiled, and we sampled gallons of British Rum. All this plus Tango, Ton-Up Boys, Ben Schott, Cooking for Chaps and Extreme Butling.
