Description
The American manufacturer of this tie, Damon, must have known, when they turned out this beauty, that they were creating one of the finest swing ties of the era. Even by typical swing tie standards of the early fifties, this one is a belter, with its funky spirals on top of subtle starbursts, woven in the most luxurious, fine silk with a modest canvas backing, allowing the tie to flap around wildly while doing the jitterbug, or held in check by a rather wide tie clip. The tie measures 124cm by a generous 10cm at the blade.
