Description
Robert Louis Stevenson’s masterwork of the macabre in a delightful leatherbound edition, part of the Tusitala editions published by William Heinemann in 1924, so named because ‘Tusitala’ was Stevenson’s nickname among the natives of Tahiti, where the author lived until his death. As well as the main title, the book also includes a selection of four short stories and 19 fables by Stevenson. The edition is bound in dark blue leather, with gilt lettering on the cover and the gold embossed logo of the Tusitala editions on the spine, in very good condition for its age.
