History of Men’s Accessories

£20.00

Nicholas Storey’s companion piece to History of Men’s Fashion is a larger book than the first, which is not surprising given how voluminous is the range of gentlemen’s accessories – although the author includes, as well as the obvious grooming equipment, cufflinks, umbrellas and so forth, things like gifts for the ladies, foodstuffs, wine and cigars. He also provides a handy Anglo-American guide to sartorial terms, of which there are enough to fill an entire chapter (cordovan, pique shirt-front and galoshes being some of the lesser known terms on the American side). This hardback edition was published by Pen & Sword Books in 2011 and is in very good condition.
