Description
Hard to believe that, before his dramatic abdication in 1937, King Edward VIII was a popular enough monarch to have books like this produced about him. Published in 1933, HRH charts the life of the prince and then the king, including his many travels around the world, his passion for polo and other sports and his military engagements. What he does best, however, according to this book, is strut about in fine clothing, striking often ludicrous poses against backdrops as unlikely as Sub-Saharan Africa. This copy has a slightly scuffed front cover, but inside is in very good condition.
