Issue 2 Knitting Pattern

£100.00

The original knitting pattern used for the cover of the second edition of The Chap in 1999. Its original purpose was for knitters to create a fetching sleeveless pullover for a son, husband or nephew who rather fancied himself as a bit of a card. For some unknown reason the colour of the pullover was changed from yellow to pastel turquoise, and the original pattern, like the magazine’s founders, has the creases of time etched into it. This is a one-off piece of publishing history for a serious collector.
