Description
Victorian ammo pouch with solid brass closure fittings and belt loops. It is not certain what this handy pouch was originally used for, but most likely to store ammunition or coins; the circular slots on the inside indicate storage of something cylindrical. With an external dimension of 15cmx10cm, and internal measurements of 14x9cm, today it would make an ideal and rather stylish compartment for one’s field telephone, conveniently attached to one’s belt with the two loops. Or for storing ammo, if you are that way inclined.
