Description
Before he became more widely known for his Jeeves and Wooster stories, one of P.G. Wodehouse’s finest comic creations was Rupert Psmith. Reportedly based on one of Plum’s school chums, Rupert D’Oyly Carte, Psmith is a a monocle-wearing Old Etonian, member of the Drones Club and something of a dandy, as well as being a witty and debonair chap-about-town, who sails unruffled through all sorts of bizarre adventures, all the while calling everyone ‘Comrade’. This is the 1971 Penguin edition in good condition.
