Description
Part of a collection entitled The Plays of J.M. Barrie, The Admirable Crichton tells the tale of an aristocratic ensemble marooned on a desert island after a shipwreck, and how the former eponymous butler to the household becomes the head of the group, turning societal hierarchies on their heads. The play continues to run in the West End, and a recent film, The Triangle of Sadness, updated the story to a luxury cruise that turns its passengers into hungry scavengers. This is the 1926 edition in good condition.
