Description
An extremely rare take on the formal white silk scarf beloved of chaps who are off to raise hell at a white tie event. This was a rare departure for Tootal from the casual daywear staples of their usual scarves. As with their other scarves, the fabric is the Tootal version of rayon but feels very much like silk, though easier to wash. The previous owner of this example allowed a small greyish mark to appear where the scarf brushed against his lapel, but Peregrine wasn’t bothered by this, easily finding a way of flinging it around his throat and pairing it, in his usual eccentric way, with a black fez (presumably the Egyptian equivalent of black tie).
