Description

Very rare copy of the Spring 2021 edition, which heralded a new cultural dawn based on that which followed the Spanish flu pandemic of the 1920s, ushering in the Roaring Twenties. Sadly this never came to pass in 21st century Britain, but nevertheless we enjoyed looking at the career of Josephine Baker (with the approval of one of her ‘Rainbow Tribe’ of children), Ancient Egypt’s stylistic influence on the fashion and interiors of the 1920s, the Marx Brothers, The Chap Tarot, Sewing Bee champion Clare Bradley, Anna May Wong, Boheme Sauvage and Japanese menswear brand Adjustable Costume.
