In a peculiar twist of fate, the image used for the cover of this book, showing Terry-Thomas working himself into a lather at the office, makes one think that this may be a book about Parkinson’s Disease, the illness that tragically killed old T-T. Parkinson’s Law, however, is actually an amusing mockery of the workplace originally published in 1957, described at the time as “Wittily truthful, a true classic whose title has entered the language” by the Times. This edition features an introduction by HRH the Duke of Edinburgh, and illustrations by Osbert Lancaster, and is in good condition.
