Description
By the time of the Regency, the cuffs of shirt sleeves were secured by by sleeve buttons, which gradually evolved into the cufflink we know today. This pair, from as relatively recent as the 1930s, bear little resemblance to what Beau Brummell would have worn. They do, however, have more than a touch of the Regency about them, making them quite appropriate for the foppish of character, especially as at the centre is a fine piece of mother-of-pearl.
