Description
First published in 1945, I Wouldn’t Have Missed It was Henry Longhurst’s personal account of the Second World War. Longhurst had achieved some success previously with It Was Good While it Lasted, and his wartime experiences, “while not fated to be either gallant or spectacular, but like everyone else, I have probably learnt more about life and people in the last five years than in the previous ten, and you cannot graduate from Driver, R.A., to Member of Parliament without some fairly entertaining passages on the way.” This hardback edition was published in 1946 and is in very good condition.
