A 1946 Everyman edition of Jane Austen’s Northanger Abbey and Persuasion. The former is Austen’s satire of the Gothic novel, published posthumously in 1817 with Persuasion, Austen’s last completed novel. The two books were originally published in one volume, and are also connected by both being set partly in Bath, where Austen lived from 1801 to 1805. Northanger Abbey was completed in 1803, making it the first of her novels to be completed in full. This hardback, cloth bound edition is in good condition.
