Description
The Rayon version of the white silk scarves worn by fighter pilots during the Second World War. The volume of cloth provided warmth at freezing altitudes, while the softness of the woven Rayon prevented chafing from the itchy serge of the RAF uniform, allowing the pilot to give his full concentration to knocking Messerschmits out of the sky. Rayon was made at such high quality in the early 20th century that it feels almost exactly like silk.
