Inspired by a newspaper article on diamond smuggling, Diamonds Are Forever was the fourth James Bond novel, penned at Ian Fleming’s Jamaica residence Goldeneye. Bond’s investigation into the illegal diamond trade takes him from Sierra Leone to Las Vegas, along the way encountering seductive smuggler Tiffany Case. The book was made into the seventh Bond film, and the last starring Sean Connery, in 1971. This is the paperback edition in good condition.
