Description
First published in hardback in 1955, this is the Everyman paperback edition of Dylan Thomas’s semi-autobiographical tale of life in small-town Wales for a young buck with dreams of seeking his fortune in London. Only a few chapters were completed before Thomas’s death in 1953 aged just 39. The tale is picaresque, told in the characteristic shrewd, sly, deadpan voice of one of Britain’s greatest 20th century poets. This edition is in very good condition.
