Description
Following the huge success of Beaton’s first volume of diaries, The Unexpurgated Beaton, editor Hugh Vickers returned to the 145 original manuscript volumes to produce this second selection, covering the swinging sixties, when Cecil Beaton was at the height of his career as a photographer and designer. Part of the diaries record the ill-fated journey made aboard Cecile de Rothchild’s yacht with Greta Garbo, as well as Beaton’s encounters with Andy Warhol and Pablo Picasso. This is the first edition in very good condition.
