Brown Madras Tie

If worn correctly, brown can sometimes be the boldest colour of all, purely because no-one expects you to be able to pull the seemingly dull colour off. Yet wearing a tie such as this one by Foster Brothers Clothing Co from the 1950s with a pale blue or cream linen suit would actually single you out as a man of discreet elan and impeccable taste. The tie is made from a very tightly woven lightweight wool and measures 120 x 9.5cm. There are two tiny moth holes, neither of them near the part of the tie on display when worn, hence the reduction in price.
