Description
Cecil Gee was a trendy menswear shop on Shaftesbury Avenue in the sixties, where Brian Epstein took the Beatles to have their first suits made. Favoured by mods, ace faces and later the Carnabetian Army of Kinks’ songs, the flagship store catered to those in the fashion know, although the brand later developed into a high street chain. This tie, from the store’s heyday, is the sort of paisley creation that Dave Davies would have favoured in 1967. The tie measures 152cm in length and 9.5cm at its widest point.
