Description
A strange book that is almost the exact opposite of The Chap, which purports to lay down the law on dressing well for the ‘crispy gentleman’ – whatever he or that is. However, within the foul language, Pitti Uomo-style ensembles and brazen puns, there is actually a message in there, as authors Kevin Burrows and Lawrence Schlossman (both Americans, as if you couldn’t have guessed) try to separate fast fashion from timeless style, both by laughing at men’s attempts to dress well and also by laying down the law on what should be worn and how it should be worn (not so different from The Chap, then). This paperback copy is in very good condition.
