Description
It is very rare that CHAP HQ comes into possession of a vintage sartorial item never witnessed before, but this proved to be the case with this ‘Four-Way’ tie in four different varieties of (made-up) tartan. Clearly the result of the 1950s obsession with time and space saving gadgets and devices, this revolutionary necktie can be worn in a total of FOUR different ways, producing a completely different pattern each time. There is not much variety within the four designs, all of them being based on classic tartans, but one must admit that the novelty value is quite something, not to mention the benefit of acquiring four ties for the price of one. Made by J.G. Wilson of Callander, Scotland in pure wool, the Four-Way tie measures 120 cm x 7 cm at the blade.
