Description
A formal silk scarf from the 1920s, acquired from the personal collection of an individual whose grandfather lived in India during the early part of the 20th century. The chap clearly had good taste, as his dress shirts were all from Harrods and had been freshly starched regularly. This scarf, ideally flung loosely around the neck at a White Tie occasion, measures 50×32 inches of pure ivory coloured silk, with a very modest few streaks of mottling to the reverse, easily concealed when worn.
