Description
Ulysses was James Joyce’s incantation to Dublin, chronicling the events on its streets during a single day. This book is a similar ramble through the streets of Dublin, pausing to acknowledge the various influences and aspects of the city present in Joyce’s masterpiece. While not exactly a guide book, James Joyce’s Odyssey could easily be used to navigate the city of Dublin in the footsteps of his novel’s characters. The chapters refer to Joyce’s own construction of Dublin into a literary device, from the Martello Tower to number 7, Eccles Street, where the action, such as it is, of Ulysses culminates. This hardback edition is in very good condition.
