Description
Tootal’s Popular Quality was their ‘essentials’ range, at the lower end of the price bracket (with Special Quality being the highest). This simple red tie with an oval repeat pattern would be ideally worn with a 1940s demob suit in brown or chalk stripe. On the short side, typical for its day, the tie would need to be tucked into a waistcoat, although period authenticity could see it flapping at half-mast with a two-piece suit. The tie measures 119cmx9cm at its widest point.
