The Chap’s April 2011 edition marked a change of style, featuring a new logo and cover design and printed, for the first and only time, on textured paper. This edition focused on musical chaps, meeting the Correspondents Mr. Bruce and other stars of the Electro-Swing firmament, as well as Franz Ferdinand singer Alex Kapranos and retro warbler CW Stoneking. We sent a correspondent of our own to cover Les Sapeurs, the Congolese dandies who leap out of their corrugated iron dressing rooms to dazzle the public with their clothing, Mr. Bell the Butler showcased his first sartorial advice column, Chivalry and Daredevils were both covered (in separate features) and Neil Ridley went around the World in 80 Drams.
