The second printing of the American edition of Evelyn Waugh’s masterpiece about the English aristocracy, love, friendship and Catholicism. Subtitled ‘The Sacred and Profane Memories of Captain Charles Ryder’, Brideshead is still the finest work about studying at Oxford and some of the characters were based on the author’s own experiences there. The condition of this copy is fair, with a few dents to the cloth boards and slight fading to the cover.
