Description
Sir Ranulph Twisleton-Wykeham-Fiennes OBE, Third Baronet, is well known to readers of The Chap, having been interviewed for the Winter 2020 edition. In this, his official autobiography, he tells the thrilling tales shared in that interview, of being kicked out the SAS for plotting to blow up a film set, travelling to both Poles by land, discovering the lost city of Ubar in Oman, and sawing off his own frostbitten fingers during a solo expedition to the North Pole. In between that he managed to peak Mount Everest several times and scale the north face of the Eiger, as well as run seven consecutive marathons in seven countries across seven continents. This hardback first edition was published by Hodder & Stoughton in 2007 and is in very good condition.
