You know when mighty art book publisher Taschen takes on such a broad subject as the interiors of London, they are going to come up with a much quirkier range of properties than, say, Country Living magazine. And thus this weighty, large-format tome takes you on a tour of London’s most stylish walls, ceilings, shelf units and furniture. The hosts of these houses range from artist Gillian Wearing to menswear designer Ozwald Boateng and musician Noel Gallagher, while the styles, unsurprisingly, range from the sleekly stylish to the nouveau riche vulgar. The colour photographs of the interiors are interspersed with grainy mono shots of the exteriors, reminding us that London is a city of hidden pleasures. This copy is in very good condition.
